Answer Calls

The Answer Alerting Call option picks up the call currently alerting at your associated endpoint. The request may fail if the call is no longer alerting your extension device by the time the corresponding call control is submitted to the telephone system.

The "Answer Call" action is only supported if your device is currently using a Polycom endpoint configured for use without the Shared Call Appearance feature.

To answer a call:

  1. Go to the Report toolbar.
  2. Click Answer Alerting Call.
