Manage Music on Hold
Music on Hold allows you to play music for all calls when the remote party is placed on hold or parked.

File requirements
Before uploading a Music on Hold file, ensure it meets the following requirements.
For .WAV and .WMA files:
- Linear PCM
- 16.000 kHz
- 16-bit mono
Audio length limits:
- Music on Hold greeting — 10 minutes maximum
- Voice Portal Personalized Name — 10 seconds maximum
- Voice Messaging Greeting and Custom Ringback User/Group — 2 minutes maximum
- All other services — 5 minutes maximum
File size: All files must be smaller than 10 MB.

Configure Music on Hold
To configure Music on Hold, follow these steps:
- From the dashboard menu, click User Service Settings.
- On the Services page, click Music on Hold User.
- Click the Edit icon in the Music on Hold User table.
- Check the Is Active checkbox to enable the feature.
- Click Save.
- Click the Edit icon in the Settings table.
- Under General Settings, select the music you want played on hold for external callers — either Group Defined or Custom Music.
- Under Internal Calls Settings, select the music you want played on hold for internal callers — either Group Defined or Custom Music.
- Click Save.
